APPLICATION file is ClickOnce Deployment Manifest file that is developed using Microsoft Visual APPLICATION. This APPLICATION file is XML based APPLICATION which is used to describe ClickOne deployment and is also used to identify the ClickOne APPLICATION type that should be deployed.

The format of this file is XML based and there are a number of elements and attributes that are added in its structure to define the file completely. This file is generated along with the main APPLICATION file that is to be deployed by the system or user and the location of the APPLICATION deployment manifest should be same as that of APPLICATION itself.
