The PTX file can be used to view the progress or trace the specific action of the user as it stores the data related to a project file when a session starts. The small details of the whole project in Pro Tools is stored in session file. The information related to each single element and its attributes is added to the session file. The session file acts as the main file which is used as key link in combining the information and data of other files.
