SPSS is a software application which is used to store and evaluate statistical data. The output after evaluating the data in the file is stored in another file which is given the extension of SPV.

This file only contains the results after operating on the statistical data that is available in any specific file. The data result that is stored in SPV file can be in any form; it can either be a visual data or it can be a numerical data. This file is non editable and therefore can only be used to view the results of any data stored in SPSS document.
