SWiSH software application uses SWI file format for making a flash based animation. This file format is used to create the project for making the final animation.

The main purpose of this file is to store the data and information of the complete progress of the work that is done in the project. SWI file format is used to save the progress of the project and therefore allows the user to edit the work done. Once the work is complete the project file allows the user to create the final animation file in the required video format. Even after the creation of file the user can still work on project if project file is not deleted.
