.KDC file format is used by Kodak DC120 digital camera for storing image details. This image file is raw and therefore cannot be used directly.

In order to use this image file the user has to first convert it into another image file format. KDC file format stores the image information in the form of 24 bit RAW image. There are number of software applications which are used to convert this file format to another printable image file format. The main purpose of using this file format is to store the image details using as minimum space as possible. The file is first processed and then is used for other purposes.
