PRPROJ file is used by Premiere Pro software application. This application is used for video editing applications.

In order to start the video editing process the user is required to make a project file. This project file is used to save the progress of video editing process. The user can then use a number of tools on the videos and add effects to them. The main purpose of the project file is to store all that information with the video data in such way that the user can undo any effect whenever required. The details of each tool used by the user is also stored in project file.
