Logic Pro software application uses .LOGIC file format to store the data associated with music compilation. LOGIC file format is used as a project file which not only saves the progress of the music production stage but also stores all the required information related with the tools and effects that are added in the basic audio data.

When working in the project the number of steps and their order during music production are also noted and all this information is stored in single project file with LOGIC file format. Each element used by user is stored in the project file as a separate identity.
