RTD file format is used by Retina Network Security software. This security software is used to check vulnerabilities in any computer system or network.

The resulting output of the software application after scanning the single system or network is stored in the form of RTD file format. This file can then be used by the application itself to warn the system, to take the required safety measures or to provide the user with the output results so that the user can further take actions himself on the basis of available data. This RTD file is generally generated by the scanner itself which is a part of whole security system.
