VRO file format is used by many cameras when a video is recorded. This file format stores raw video and audio data for a specific scene.

The VRO file format keeps the aspect ratio fixed for the video data unlike other video formats and this aspect ratio format for the video file is saved as the part of the video data. This file format acts as a container file for storing video as well as audio data. This data is stored as multiplexed audiovisual data. A single VRO file can be played in similar fashion as a player plays a number of VOB files in similar fashion.
